The dog health record: vaccination card, documents & health in one place
With the DOGSY health record you keep your dog's vaccination card, documents and health appointments private, all in one place. DOGSY reminds you in time about vaccination, deworming or the next vet visit – and from your details you create a shareable, read-only dog passport for a sitter, boarding home or vet.
What is the health record?
The health record is your dog's private health folder: vaccination status, chip number, allergies, vet contact, uploaded documents and your own health appointments all in one place – visible only to you and your family. DOGSY reminds you of the appointments you enter and lets you turn them into a read-only dog passport that you can share deliberately and for a limited time. It's your archive: DOGSY gives no veterinary advice.
What it looks like in the app
A look at the health record before you sign in.

How it works – step by step
Five steps from an empty record to handing it over to a carer. All of it is part of the free account.
Add your dog
Under «Profile → Dogs» you enter name, breed, size, sex and year of birth, plus the field «Health & special notes» – allergies or medication, for example – and your vet's contact details. Two tick boxes decide whether your dog's name and photos are shown publicly; without them, both stay with you.
Enter vaccination, deworming and the rest
For each entry you pick the type – vaccination, deworming, tick protection, vet check-up, medication, weight or other –, the date and whether it repeats (monthly, every 3 or 6 months, yearly). For weight you type the kilograms into a number field of its own instead of a label.
Set the reminder
For each entry you choose the lead time: 1, 3, 7, 14 or 30 days in advance, with 14 days preset. DOGSY then shows you what is overdue or coming up and sends a notification to your phone – even when the app is closed.
Upload vaccination card and documents
Vaccination card, pedigree papers or vet receipts go into the record as an image or PDF. The files sit in a private area and are never linked publicly.
Share with the carer
From a chat you send a request to a person and tick what they may see: basics, photos, health and vet, gets along with, vaccination record and documents. Nothing is pre-ticked, access starts only once they agree – and you can change the selection or revoke it at any time.

What this is good for in everyday life
The weekend at the sitter's
You release basics, «health and vet» and the vaccination record – nothing more. On Monday you revoke the access, and the record is gone from her view.
The vaccination that would otherwise slip
You enter the appointment once and set it to yearly. Two weeks before, DOGSY gets in touch, and once you mark it done it moves on to next year by itself.
«How much does he weigh now?»
Weight is a type of its own with a kilogram field – you record 14.0 kg as a value, not as a note. One-off entries stay in the list marked «done» once completed, so you also see the earlier values.

What fits in your health record
Health appointments
Save vaccination, deworming, tick protection, vet check-up, medication, weight or other – one-off or recurring (monthly to yearly). Under «other» you write the title yourself, for example dog groomer or dog physio.
Timely reminders
DOGSY reminds you before the date – anywhere from 1 day to 1 month ahead. The reminder reaches the app and your phone, even when the app is closed.
Vaccination card & documents
Upload the vaccination card, pedigree or vet receipts as files. They sit in a private area and are never publicly linked.
Digital dog passport
A curated profile with chip number, vaccination status, allergies, special notes and vet contact – your dog's key details at a glance.
Share with an expiry date
Create a link that expires after 1, 7 or 30 days. You choose per link which sections are visible – and can revoke it at any time.
Private & protected
Your record is yours. By default only your household sees it; only what you tick is ever shared – per person in a shared record or per passport link, revocable at any time.
Never miss a vaccination again
Enter what's coming up – for example a rabies vaccination, the deworming or the next vet check-up. DOGSY shows you what's overdue or due soon and reminds you in time on your phone – with a lead time you choose yourself. Recurring appointments roll on to the next date automatically once you mark them done.
Your appointments are visible to you and your family – and beyond that only to people you have explicitly shared the dog with using the «health and vet» tick box. The push reminder deliberately names neither the dog nor the type of appointment; the details appear only in the app behind your login. DOGSY gives no veterinary advice.
The shareable dog passport
For handing over to a sitter, a boarding home or the vet, you turn your record into a read-only dog passport – so you pass on the key details without handing over your whole record.
Fill in the passport
Enter chip number, vaccination status, allergies, special notes and the vet contact. What you enter stays with you for now.
Create a link
Choose the validity (1, 7 or 30 days) and which sections are included – profile only, with or without medical details and vet contact.
Share it safely
Pass on the link. Anyone who opens it and is signed in to DOGSY sees a read-only view – nobody can change anything.
Revoke any time
Don't need the link anymore? Revoke it with one click and it stops working immediately – even if someone saved it.
The passport only shows what you enter on purpose and release per link. Your private health record – appointments, reminders and uploaded documents – stays out of it.
Your data stays your data
The health record is built private: by default only your household can see it. Uploaded documents sit in a protected area and are never publicly linked – they open only through a short-lived, personal link. Only what you tick is ever shared – per person in a shared record or per passport link – and you can revoke it at any time. No selling, no advertising with your health data.
Frequently asked questions about the health record
Is the health record an official vaccination card?
No. The health record is your own digital archive – handy for keeping vaccination status, appointments and documents in one place. It doesn't replace the official pet passport or vaccination card; it complements it.
Who sees my health data?
You and your family in the same household – and beyond that only whoever you release something to yourself. When sharing you tick per person what they may see: basics, photos, health and vet, gets along with, vaccination record and documents. The health appointments hang on the «health and vet» tick box; without that box and without a passport link, nobody sees them.
How do the reminders work?
You set a lead time per appointment (from 1 day to 1 month). DOGSY then reminds you in the app and with a notification on your phone – even when the app is closed. Recurring appointments roll on automatically once done.
Does DOGSY give veterinary advice?
No. DOGSY suggests no vaccination intervals and rates nothing. You are only reminded of what you enter yourself. For medical questions, your vet is the right place.
What is the shareable dog passport?
A read-only profile with your dog's key details that you share via a link – for a sitter or a boarding home, for example. You choose per link what is visible and for how long, and can revoke it at any time. For protection, the person opening the link must be signed in to DOGSY.
What does the health record cost?
Nothing. The health record, the reminders and the shareable dog passport are part of the free DOGSY account.
