How do I find a service near me?
Sign up for free, enter your location and choose the radius that suits you. Then narrow the search to the service you want and write to the person directly. The search covers a radius around your location: you do not have to live in a city that has its own page.
How much do the services on DOGSY cost?
Matching through DOGSY is free and DOGSY takes no commission. Except for Dogsharing, services can be offered for free or for a fee. Whether and how much is paid is agreed directly between the parties; DOGSY sets no prices. Dogsharing is a lasting, unpaid godparent relationship with one dog, like being a dog's godparent: no money changes hands.
How do I know whether I can trust someone?
You see the person's profile and details, and you write to each other before the first job. Anyone who verifies with an official ID gets the «Verified» badge; after a job both sides can rate each other. The badge is no guarantee of suitability or reliability, so get to know each other before the first job. Blocking and reporting are possible at any time.
How is liability regulated for services?
DOGSY puts people in touch; the users provide the service to each other. According to the terms and conditions, DOGSY excludes liability for damage in connection with the matching and with agreed services, as far as legally permitted. Users are advised to have private liability insurance (including damage to animals in their care) and to check beforehand whether it covers the care.
How do I offer a service myself?
Sign up, enter your location and select what you offer under «Services» in your profile. After that you can be found in the radius search. Anyone who offers services commercially is responsible for complying with the applicable statutory, cantonal and municipal rules, such as licensing and registration duties.
