For the love of dogs – founded in St. Gallen
Hello, I’m Nadine Fässler. DOGSY is my labour of love – it grew out of my dog grooming salon Pretty Wau in St. Gallen. There I see every day how attached people are to their dogs, and how much it matters to them that their companion is in good hands.«Do you know someone who could look after my dog?» I hear that question more often than you would think. At some point I no longer wanted to just answer it – I wanted to solve it. That is how DOGSY came about: free of charge, with no strings attached.DOGSY is more than a platform. It is a community that puts the wellbeing of dogs first: open to everyone, with practical help, reliable information and connections between dog people, animal welfare organisations and businesses.Everyday life rarely leaves time for a long search for the right solution. That is exactly where DOGSY comes in: helping, connecting, moving something together – so our four-legged friends can live happier lives.For me this is only the beginning. I am glad about everyone who joins in and helps shape DOGSY. Together we make sure that dogs quickly get the support they deserve.
Our mission
Around 900 million dogs live worldwide. Every single one of them deserves people who have time for them – including on the days when things get tight. On one side are owners who need a hand. On the other are people who love dogs but can’t have one of their own right now. DOGSY brings the two together. Often that’s all it takes: someone nearby with time to spare, and a dog who’s happy about it.

Our Pledge to Donate
Through the ‘Gutes’ section, Dogsyaner can donate to animal welfare projects – 100 per cent of donations are passed on, and we report on the impact.
Transparency: How is DOGSY funded?
The use of DOGSY is and will remain completely free for all Dogsyaner – there are no fees and no commission on agreements between users. DOGSY is funded exclusively through discreet advertising from selected partners (e.g. pet supplies, vets). It’s important to us that we do not collect any personal information and do not sell user data. Adverts are displayed based on general criteria (e.g. country/language or ‘has a dog’) – not based on your behaviour or your chats. Your chats are private – no one on the DOGSY team can view them via the platform.
