Dog walking in your city
Some days there just isn't enough time. On DOGSY you find people nearby who walk your dog – and you see what applies in your canton. Pick your town or city.
What is a Gassi-Service?
«Gassi-Service» is the German name DOGSY uses for dog walking – «Gassi gehen» simply means taking the dog out. Someone walks your dog when you have no time. On DOGSY you choose that person yourself, write to them and agree on the walk together. Not to be confused with Gassi-Tracking – that records your own walk with route, duration and pace.

Frequently asked questions
What is a Gassi-Service?

For which towns and cities is there a Gassi-Service on DOGSY?
The list on this page shows the Swiss towns and cities that have their own page. For each one it explains how to find someone and what applies in the canton. Your town or city missing? That is no obstacle: the search in the app works with your location and a radius, not with this list.
Is the leash rule the same everywhere in Switzerland?
No, it is not regulated the same way everywhere: the rules depend on the canton, and the municipality may have additional rules. The city pages show what DOGSY can document for the canton concerned, with source and date. The municipality gives binding information.
What does dog walking cost on DOGSY?
DOGSY takes no commission. Whether and what you pay the person is agreed directly between you.
How do I know I can trust the person?
You see the profile, the details given, and you write to each other before the first walk. We recommend taking the first walk together. You can report and block at any time.
Can it be spontaneous?
You arrange it directly with each other – fixed times are possible, one-off walks too. DOGSY does not prescribe anything.
