Vom 1. April bis 31. Juli musst du deinen Hund im Wald und am Waldrand an der Leine führen – als Waldrand gilt das Gebiet bis 50 Meter Entfernung zum Wald. Wie lang die Leine sein darf, ist nicht vorgeschrieben. Verstösse kosten CHF 60. Ausgenommen sind Jagd-, Rettungs- und Diensthunde im Einsatz und in der dafür nötigen Ausbildung sowie ausbruchsicher eingezäunte Areale. Ganzjährig gilt Leinenpflicht ausserdem in öffentlich zugänglichen Gebäuden, an verkehrsreichen Strassen, in öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, an Bahnhöfen und Haltestellen sowie überall dort, wo es signalisiert ist.
