Some dogs are simply bursting with energy. They're lively, playful, love company and are always ready for the next adventure. A dog like this brings a lot of joy into your life – but he also keeps you busy. If his energy doesn't find a good outlet, it quickly turns into restlessness.

How to recognise him

A high-energy dog loves being active, seeks contact and gets bored quickly. Without something to do, he becomes fidgety, demanding or over-excited. How much energy a dog brings along differs from dog to dog, by the way – even within the same breed there are calm types and little whirlwinds.
