The high-energy dog: channelling all that energy
Is your dog a bundle of energy, playful and always on the go? Here's how to give that energy a good outlet – while he still learns to settle down.
Some dogs are simply bursting with energy. They're lively, playful, love company and are always ready for the next adventure. A dog like this brings a lot of joy into your life – but he also keeps you busy. If his energy doesn't find a good outlet, it quickly turns into restlessness.
How to recognise him
A high-energy dog loves being active, seeks contact and gets bored quickly. Without something to do, he becomes fidgety, demanding or over-excited. How much energy a dog brings along differs from dog to dog, by the way – even within the same breed there are calm types and little whirlwinds.
