Learning to handle frustration – through play

Not melting down when things don't work right away: your dog can learn that. With little games that practise patience on the side.

Being able to wait without losing it: many dogs find that hard. What we mean is the ability to cope when a wish isn't granted right away – without barking, getting worked up or giving up in frustration. A dog who has learned this is noticeably more relaxed in everyday life. And the best part: you can practise it with him through play.

Food worth working for

Games where your dog has to work for his food practise patience on the side. He learns: a little effort and sticking with it pay off. That's completely natural, by the way – our dogs' ancestors also had to spend part of their day searching for food.
