The rule
For Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Dogo Argentino, Pit Bull, Bandog, Rottweiler and Tosa Inu as well as their crossbreeds with each other or with other dogs, an increased danger potential is always presumed (§ 2 Abs. 2). If there are doubts about how a crossbreed is classified, the owner must submit an expert opinion (§ 2 Abs. 4). In addition, there are conspicuous dogs that the municipality establishes by official decision, for example after a serious bite without cause (§ 3).
