The dog tax is a matter for the municipality: the Act names the municipal office responsible for the dog tax (§ 7 Abs. 2) and obliges the municipalities to levy charges for dangerous dogs under municipal bylaws (§ 10); it does not set the amount. Amount per municipality, see the city page.
