So that every walk is a joy: the right equipment, good planning and relaxed encounters.

Walks are the highlight of the day for most dogs. With the right equipment, a bit of planning and a good helping of composure, they become a pleasure for you both – rather than a stress.

The right equipment

A well-fitting chest harness spares the neck and sits comfortably. Along with it goes a lead that suits the situation: a walking lead of two to three metres for out and about, a long line for training with more freedom. It's better to do without retractable leads, and aids that work through pain – such as prong or electric collars – you keep well away from.
