DOGSY and Liesl compared
Liesl arranges dog care in Swiss cities, handles payment through the app and puts its own guarantee on top. DOGSY arranges care as well – but takes nothing for it and speaks more than one national language. Both belong side by side.

What the platform costs sitters
By its own account, Liesl charges no registration and no fixed fee, and the sitter sets their own price. From the amount, however, Liesl deducts a platform fee («after deduction of the Liesl platform fee»). How high that fee is was not findable on the pages we reviewed on 29 August 2026 – we therefore name no figure. At DOGSY the deduction does not exist at all: DOGSY does not handle payment and keeps nothing.

Arranging care is only one part of DOGSY
Besides care, DOGSY covers the rest of everyday life with a dog: Dogsharing, DOGSYgram, Rudel and events, poisoned-bait and hazard warnings, missing-dog reports, the dog file, the places map with vets and dog meadows, knowledge articles as well as the shelter and donation section. These areas were not findable at Liesl in our review of 29 August 2026.

On the walk, both can do it
Liesl shows the location live during the walk and sends photo and status updates. DOGSY shares the live location as well and additionally has calls with audio and video between the people involved. In the table above, the live location therefore carries a check mark for both.

Which one fits whom
Anyone who wants a secured booking paid through the app, with a guarantee and vetted people, is right with Liesl. Anyone who wants to avoid the deduction, read in their own language or use Dogsharing, warnings, the dog file and community beyond care will find that at DOGSY. Using both side by side is possible.

How this comparison was made
- We reviewed the publicly available websites and apps, and every page states the date we checked.
- What we did not find is called «not found in our review» – not «does not exist». A search without a hit proves nothing.
- We only quote figures that are documented. Where only third-party numbers exist, we say so.
- We show no third-party logos. Trademarks belong to their owners and appear as words only.
All trademarks named belong to their respective owners. DOGSY is not affiliated with them.
