Pawshake is active in Switzerland and available there in four languages: German, French, Italian and English. That is more than most international providers do for Switzerland. DOGSY serves the same four languages – and the interface exists in 44, which matters for people who have moved here and for multilingual households.

Pawshake keeps a share of every booking. We do not quote a percentage here: no document from Pawshake itself was available to us, and third-party numbers are too uncertain for this. DOGSY takes no commission on care. Price and details are agreed directly between the people involved; DOGSY handles no payment and is not the sitter's employer.

DOGSY shares the live location during the walk: whoever handed the dog over can see in real time where the walk currently is. At Pawshake a live location could not be demonstrated in our review of 28 August 2026; what is documented is a daily «Report Card» with a report and photos after the care.

Only at DOGSY
Dogsharing (shared dog ownership), the photo feed DOGSYgram, packs and events, poison-bait and hazard alerts, missing-dog reports, the dog file, the map of places with vets and dog meadows, and the animal-shelter and donation section. These functions were not found at Pawshake in our review of 28 August 2026.

Which one fits whom
If you want a paid booking with payment handling and a wide choice in the city, Pawshake is the right place. If you want neighbourhood, dogsharing, alerts and your own language, DOGSY is. Using both in parallel is possible and perfectly legitimate – DOGSY ties nobody down.

In our review of 28 August 2026 this could not be demonstrated. What is documented is a daily «Report Card» with a report and photos. A search without a hit does not prove the function is missing.
Does DOGSY cost anything for owners?
Use is free for owners, and no commission is charged on care. DOGSY is funded by business profiles that pay per click.
