For private sitters, Petsitting24 states that use is free and that the fee comes directly from the owner; no commission applies. What is paid for is visibility and contact: there are paid premium tiers for sitters, for owners and for commercial providers. At DOGSY there is neither a commission nor a premium tier; DOGSY is funded through company profiles with a price per click.

Classifieds marketplace versus app
Petsitting24 brings listings and profiles together; payment runs directly between the people involved, not through the platform. In that respect the two offerings are similar. DOGSY is also an app with a live location during the walk, calls with audio and video, the dog file, warnings and community.

In our review of 29 August 2026 the site was findable in German; we did not review further language versions. The DOGSY interface exists in 44 languages, for Switzerland in German, French, Italian and English.

Which one fits whom
Anyone who wants to place a listing in Switzerland and pay no commission for it will find that with both. The difference: at Petsitting24 visibility costs money, at DOGSY it does not – while Petsitting24 also arranges care for other animals, and DOGSY brings along everyday life around the dog.
