The rule

American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Bull Terrier as well as their crossbreeds always count as dangerous. Bullmastiff, Dogo Argentino, Dogue de Bordeaux, Fila Brasileiro, Kangal, Caucasian Shepherd (Kaukasischer Owtscharka), Mastiff, Mastín Español, Mastino Napoletano, Rottweiler and Tosa Inu as well as their crossbreeds also count as dangerous; they can be exempted after a passed temperament test. In addition, there are dogs that have attracted attention in individual cases.

Conditions: Rottweilers and Rottweiler crossbreeds: since 1 April 2006 muzzle and leash as long as there is no exemption, and registration with the responsible office without delay.
